gredeker
This is slightly off topic, but it's funny. My wife and I are in the process of having a new house built, and we had whittled the carpet shade down to two finalists. Both were beigey-neutral, but one had a hint more brownish-red highlights and the other had more gray/silver highlights. Me: "What's the name of the brownish-reddish one?" Spouse: "This one is Mincemeat." Me: "What's the other one called?" Spouse: "Let's see... it's called Puma." Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. Moon
And here I am thinking that this will be some post about carpet bombing and pre-planned bombardments in CM, and what do we get? You're lucky they don't have carpets called "Nahverteidigungswaffe" then I guess

109 Gustav
Of course, if you want to be historically accurate, you would use the PSW 234/1 carpet. Puma carpet is gamey since only fifteen were made, and just three of those saw action on the western front.
von shrad
I'm a Union Floor Layer by trade with 14 years exp. and my advice would be this; You get a lot more life out of carpeting by spending a little more on a better quality padding than a slightly upgraded carpet. I suggest a 8# rebound and stay away from any foam pad without a doubt. Your money will go a lot farther. A 2 month or so break from the forum and this is the thread I post to......? von shrad
