Nidan1 Posted October 14, 2002 Share Posted October 14, 2002 to be infantry in the open in CMBB? The firepower of squad weapons surely makes a bigger impact in this game than it did in CMBO. Even veteran and crack troops start kissing the ground when they get caught in a compromising bit of terrain. Sure makes plotting infantry movement a lot more interesting. zukkov Posted October 14, 2002 Share Posted October 14, 2002 a friend of mine that served in vietnam told me he was under a mortar attack. he was in flat terrain and there was no cover. he said by the time the mortars stopped, he had dug himself in flush with the ground. not consiously mind you. he doesn't remember actually clawing at the ground. when he got up he was shocked to see the whole he had made during the attack. that just shows you what fear can do....
