Formerly Babra
I suspect my jerkiness problem was due to virtual memory not behaving properly. In any event, I downloaded half a dozen various Win98 updates, reset my virtual memory, and deleted the CM prefs file. After restarting the game it now runs smooth and clean. And all I can say is... wow!

Formerly Babra
Only modestly. The "blockulated" ground texture is only really visible from altitude 1, but I generally do most of my gaming from altitudes 2-4, so I don't notice it. I'm content.

I downloaded the latest Win98 updates and moved my virtual memeory to the same drive as the game. The only thing I haven't done is delete my CM prefs file. Where is it at? I have a PIII 450, 129MB RAM, 16MB Voodoo3 card with the latest drivers. Hard to get much faster system, so it has to be settings. Guest Big Time Software
OGSF - the regular 'pause' may be your computer accessing the CD-ROM to get ambient sound. It that's annoying, just do a 'full' install and the sounds will be placed on your hard drive. Charles
Mike Oberly
I have the same problem with the pausing(just got the game an hour ago,and looks great! .I am using a P2450,TNT2,and 128 megs SDRam.I have not really tried to fix this yet,but I did do a full install. Mike Oberly
I may have spoken too soon.I installed the 1.01 patch and am playing the short 'Aachen' scenario, and I have seen no pausing so far.Hope that keeps up... Mike
