Sabrewolf
Does a unit have to be in exactly in stone wall terrain (its terrain status said wall) to gain the benefit of the stone wall protection and possibility of hull down
Greenman
If its the same as CMBO, and I'm pretty sure it is, then you need to be BEHIND the wall to gain cover advantages.(a couple of meters ought to do it) If your terrain box reads wall, then you are standing on top of the wall and consequently are extremely exposed. Sabrewolf
thats what I thought, but when I played CMBO units behind wall get routed awfully fast, I wish there are better indication to whether you are actually gaining the benefits
GreasyPig
I often wondered this too. Same with hedge rows. GreasyPig

Consequently, if they come under heavy fire, especially if they take casualties, they get up and run for the nearest cover that they recognize, trees, houses, etc. In the process, they usually take more casualties than if they had stayed in place.
