laxx Posted December 9, 2002 Share Posted December 9, 2002 Training Movie #1:How to do a Human Wave 2.5MB I have created a small CMBB movie 2.5Mb long (quicktime format with sound!) on a Russian Platoon doing a Human Wave against a German Squad with HQ, the German Platoon Commanders dies in the end. You can hear the Russian 82mm motar in the background. Well, I removed the Tall Pines for a better view. Still experimenting with it, the movie is too grainy, need to either zoom in more or create a bigger screen. anyway, enjoy. ** actually this is pretty bad, should stop motar before human wave http://www.web.ms11.net/retro/Sample-HumanWave.mov Training Movie#2: Infantry vs Tanks Ambush 3MB This is a old 1941 German training movie on how to conduct an ambush against a KV-1 Tank. The Ambush team comprise of: - Sharpshooter (right bottom screen) - Tank Hunter team (left of tank) - Flame Thrower (right of tank) Sequence: a. The ambush team is hidden with well placed covered arcs of fire. b. The sharpshooter snipes at the tank commander. The Tank goes into shock mode with hatch closed. c. After a while the tank stumbles along the road. d. The tank comes within the Cover Arcs of the Tank Hunter team and Flame Thrower. e. The Tank is Flamed but is finally killed by a magnetic mine thrown. laxx Posted December 9, 2002 Author Share Posted December 9, 2002 I *just* uploaded a different Human Wave movie but under the same name. Interestingly, the on-board motar causes the human wavers to duck for cover. I used SnapzPro 2 for Mac to make this movie. Quite easy to setup, the challenge comes in with the panning, and schrolling. Will investigate summore.
