Ace Pilot
In Madmatt's thread on the upcoming patch features, he mentioned the following: "Games saved in v1.01 can't be loaded in by the older v1.0. So if you're playing others by email or TCP/IP, make sure you all upgrade to v1.01." Will it work the other way, though? Can a v1.0 PBEM file be loaded into v1.01? In other words, I have a PBEM game in progress. If I upgrade to v1.01, will I be able to continue the PBEM? I'm betting those smart guys at BFC did make v1.01 compatible with v1.0 files, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. Ace

Pascal DI FOLCO
With the CMBO patches you always could save a game in version X, then reload in v. X+1 and resume PBEM. The only trick was to make the save BEFORE upgrading ! I'm pretty sure it'll be the same with CMBB
