Beren
hi, how is implemented the quality of armor? for example with a 90% quality? Thanks you
Jaska.
I think the figure means that it is only able to withstand so and so many percent of the damage that the armour would normally take. So a 90% quality armour would not be 90% in thickness, but would withstand 90% of what normal armour would take.
JasonC
In practice, multiply the thickness by the quality coefficient and that is the thickness to compare to the entries in the penetration tables.
Battlefront.com
It means that the armor is treated as if it is 90% as thick as the actual thickness. So 100mm of armor at 90% is really equal to about 90mm of armor. All the other factors tht go into determining pentrations, such as shatter gap and armor composition, still apply.
