Harry Yeide
I've added histories for the TD battalions that served in North Africa, Italy, and the ETO to my website. There is also a list of attachments, but that is incomplete. TD battalions were parceled out in such small chunks and moved around so often that I started to tear my hair out and finally just gave up. World War II History by Harry Yeide Cheers!

Even after 50 years of reading about it, I still continue to stumble across things I never heard of before. Practically every day, in fact. Harry Yeide
Darned big, my friend! By the way, I also just added some photos from my new book, "Weapons of the Tankers."
John Kettler
Harry, Impressive site! I bookmarked it, skimmed some of the photos (had never seen a concrete bowed Sherman before) from your books (would love to simply order them all, but can't at present) and watched several of the videos. Drusenheim sounded pretty exciting. I say sounded because despite the all but incessant firing, it's hard to see much in the way of results, what with the relatively low image resolution and the long camera view. Clearly, the gunfire exceeded the dynamic range of the microphones the film crew had available at the time. Even so, I found the pucker factor high. Tagwyn
Grog Kettler: Have you seen "Ivan's War?" A new comprehensive story of Red Army on Eastern Front. I would appreciate your analysis. Tag
John Kettler
Tagwyn, No, I haven't, but I'm intrigued. What is it, please? A book? A film? A monograph? Do you have a link? Regards, John Kettler
Andreas
It's a book. A person who read it and whose opinion I care about think its rubbish. All the best Andreas

ropey
Hi I don't suppose you have anything on the 760th Tank Bn that fought with the Kiwis at Monte Cassino? Particularly their recce unit is of interest.
