von Lucke
Just when you think you've seen it all: This is a former 50mm ATG crew eating dirt --- note lack of sidearm. Anybody know the percentage chance of crews coming up empty-handed after abandoning guns / vehicles?
BulletRat
They've been captured by the enemy, then re-captured by your troops. (naturally the enemy troops would remove their sidearms - which is how they come to be unarmed).
von Lucke
Ah-ha! I didn't actually see that happen, but they were in the thick of it. Most of the prisoners I've seen remain that way the whole game.
MikeyD
That happens VERY rarely but I've seen it recently, myself. At least back in CMBB days the 'uncaptured' thing happened when a friendly officer (if there is such a thing) gets withing contact range of the captured man. Running a normal squad up to him doesn't (didn't) work, it apparently has to be someone with rank. When it happened to me my poor guy oscillated between 'captured' and 'unarmed' 3-4 times in one turn as the battle raged around him!
