Hans
An agricultural question! I was sent an idea for a Spanish Civil War scenario and the paragraph mentions.. ...the fascists attack us in the Cherimoya fields.... okay I looked up what a Cherimoya IS but what the heck is size of this fruit bearing plant? "Bush size", "scattered tree size" or "vineyard size" Thanks!
Paco QNS
Little tree size. And the correct noun --in spanish-- is "chirimoyo" for the plant, and "chirimoya" the fruit. (( Edited to add images.- Also, never thought in english you call them --correctly-- "cherimoyas" )) [ February 28, 2004, 10:34 AM: Message edited by: Paco QNS ]
Paco QNS
Also, is planted in squares from 7 * 7 metres (204 trees / 10.000 m2) to 5 * 4 metres (500 trees / 10.000 m2). All you wanted to know about chirimoyos (in spanish)

Hans
¡gracias Paco por su sabiduría generosa del árbol! Yes a Chirimoya grog! Looks like it'll be a 'scattered tree' orchard of Chirimoya
