David I
Getting away from Normandy for a minute, I rediscovered this one on the shelves, so to speak. Using AndrewTF's excellent mod this one features netted FJ helmets and Squad leaders in Tropical tunics. Options include Squad leaders in camo and helmets with no netting. They look like this: Enjoy, DavidI
painfbat
Very nice David I. Coulf you do something same with the Sealion FJ, so we have FJ with and without the "knochensack"? The only thing I seem to do right is adding 10 to the bmp. Cheers Hugo
David I
Painfbat What time period does the Sealion game play on? North Africa, mid war or late war? So you want some in flieger bluse and others in jump smocks. Kinda like I did with my late war fallschirmjager but without the tropicals? painfbat
Most scenario's are made Italy may 1944, I think HANS started to use tha t for 1940 and Sealion scenario's. I however do select Crete first in order to select the FJ. I use ANDREW's Sealion FJ I found on ANDREAS's sealion page. Hope this is any help Cheers
David I
Painfbat, How do I get to Andreas' Sealion page? DavidI
junk2drive
click here then click Downloads Section. I'd mail them but 4+mb They are his Crete FJ unis renumbered for late war CMAK post June 44. For Hans May 1944 scenarios they need mid war numbers, which I have.
David I
Junk, Thanks alot. I thought maybe ATF had done something different - what, I don't know. His Crete Fallschirmjager would cover France & Norway 40 and Sealion 40/41 excellently. Painfbat, All I intended to do was renumber ATF's mod for you. You can't do better than that. painfbat
Oke, a fast note as I'm busy finding some notes. I thougt you changed something in the 3-men squad, but forgot it was already noticed that that cann't be done. I really should pay more attention. As to the FJ mods I'm a little confused here. I playd FJ during may 1944 and found that the FJ mid mods don't work. When I came home from work today my wife gave me a present: she renumbered the FJ mid-mods to late-period and now they are visible Italy may 1944. Lucky me I brought her a Valentine-present(forgot it the last 2 years and she doesn't accept an "I gave you a baby" anymore) but it's scary what she did with the mods. For all I know she starts playing the game to, as soon someone mods the Indian / Sikhtroops. Quess I'll be wearing a sari from now on. David I
Painfbat, The switch over date for mid-war/late-war is May 1944 so mid-war goes from July 1943 to April 1944, and late-war goes from May 1944 to March 1945. If you have renumbered your mid-war Fallschirmjager to late war they will have the same appearance from July 1943 to March 1945. Which is fine, of course, but then you won't have the pleasure of seeing my late war Fallschirmjager on your screen. DavidI
junk2drive
I stand corrected. ISTR a conflict with the dates for German troops but maybe that was with 1.01.
