TCP issues with Comcast??

Recommended Posts

Did a search but I can't see my specific problem. I have an XP machine and a physical router + cable modem + Comcast cable.

port 7023 is properly forwarded on my router.

that WinXP internal firewall crap is disabled.

when I try to host or connect to a TCP game I get "Cannot connect to network" message from CM as soon as I enter teh IP and hit enter. The Ips are valid public side IPs.

Is Comcast itself doing something odd nowadays? I use dto host TCP games in CM:BO all the time.
