Michael Emrys
Ditto. The problem is nVidia PLUS AK. Fortunately this is one I can live with if I have to. Michael Emrys
Okay, troops, I may have found a partial solution to this problem. It doesn't make the black box go away, but it does give you your full cursor back so you can see the point of it. I have a Logitech scroll wheel mouse, and when I pressed down on the scroll wheel, up popped the cursor again in front of the black box. Probably most of you aren't using this mouse, but you might try various combinations of buttons and keys to see if anything works for you. This may also raise the question of whether some of us have mouse drivers that are causing the problem. Since some who have reported this problem claim to be using stock Apple mice, that is uncertain, though it might be asked if they have any other third party input drivers that might produce the same effect. Another possibility—I think this was already discussed but I'll raise it again—is any software that generates custom cursors. I'm thinking also of games that may do so. Maybe more on this later after I've done a bit more sleuthing around. Michael

Taking a screenshot works for me. It leads to the same result you've got: the pointer is visible with the black box trailing after it.
Hoopenfaust2
I'm using a Wacom™ tablet and get that black box crappola. Did BFC do any testing on mac Nvidia machines, or better yet, what machines did they do the testing on. Who can I sue, BFC or Nvidia?
