Aco4bn187inf
I read an account of a german 20mm flak gun firing in desperation at a T-34. The impact of the shells on the (cast) turret caused it to reverberate like a giant bell and the crew bailed out. It was in War Without Garlands by Robt J Kershaw.
flamingknives
Fragments from a 155mm shell will penetrate almost 20mm of armour plate from about 50' (15m)
Guest Mike
In an old "War Monthly" magazine is a series of photos of an practice SS-11 ATGM (ie one without a warhead) hitting a Centurion in the side - even withoot a warhead the tracks are broken and the rubber in the roadwheels is set alight.

Cheers, YD To see the effects of an extraordinary HE round go to the SD and download the scenario HSG EW A Tiger by the Tail. In playtesting this scenario I have seen a single Tiger in the game kill a T-34, TWO SU-76's and two buildings all in the same shot. Another playtester saw the same Tiger kill TWO T-34's, TWO BA-64's and a building in the same shot. This all happened with an HE round in each case. Most incredible thing I've seen in CM yet.
