Maybe Battlefront could do it if they were sent info from both sides including the password from the known side? I've never forgotten one before and all my passwords are recorded now. I've been on this forum a long time and I have never heard there was a way to retrieve a lost password - because it opens the way to cheating, just as you said. I doubt BFC would tell you if there was. Few would be happy to be able to continue a game, many would be unhappy for fear of cheaters.
