MikeyD
For those who haven't downloaded this old mod from the Tom's Combat Mission site. MikeyD's "Tire Tread Pack" has been revised and is at our favorite site: http://www.cmmods.com/ Clean/muddy/snow versions of four different styles of tire tread: Chevorn pattern, Straight pattern, Russian military/civilian truck pattern, German military pattern. I've revised the German and Russian patterns slightly. Otherwise it's the sames as on Tom's site.
Sitzkrieg
MikeyD, Do you have a mod pack like this for tracks? I searched but only came up with one that looked Russian specific and gautrek's dusty tracks. Mainly looking for muddy tracks. Am I missing something? MikeyD
If you look under 'MikeyD' in CMMODs you'll see a T-34 track mod set and Russian Heavy Tank track mod set. Each one is full clean/muddy/snowy versions. For dusty you'll have to go to gautrek's. He dustied-up my clean set for me.
Sitzkrieg
Do those apply to German tanks as well? I'm guessing there is some overlap with shared textures. I guess I'm looking for something generic that will work for all tanks. Thanks and keep up the excellent work. Your Zimmerit King Tiger is a work of art.
MikeyD
Hey, if you want generic play CMBO! Actually, in CMBB the tire treads are generic (pick one set and it gets applied to all), but the tank tracks are more specific. German light, medium, and heavies; Russian light, medium, and heavies, plus Sherman tank tracks have their own.
Sitzkrieg
I didn't know how tracks were handled in this version. Thanks for the info.
