thewood
How big an historical factor is the lack of the T-28 in CMBB?
JasonC
None, since it made no difference in the war. When T-34s or especially KVs appeared in an important sector in 1941, it could make a difference - though typically only for a few days, since their supply and maintenance etc was so poor. But T-28s? I don't think so. It's real heyday was the Winter War against Finland, anyway.
thewood
I guess I was thinking more from a historical scenario perspective. Are there particular scenarios that rely a lot on the appearence of the T-28, if so what substitute comes close to making up for it.
JasonC
No, other than winter war Mannerheim line stuff I suppose. If you need a substitute for the later uparmored ones, use a T-34. It has higher mobility than the T-28, but similar ability to defeat AP and similar firepower.
