soft skin
One of my tanks was blown up while moving within 10-20 meters of one of my own minefield. Needless to say, that got me mad as hell. Do mines have a greater "radius" than what is shown on the screen? Unless I misread something, the manual doesn't say anything about that. What's up with that?
flamingknives
AT mines cover an area roughly 20m square. It's nearly the same as what you see in the setup screen, but not quite. As one might say: excretia occurs.
junk2drive
Curious, was your tank buttoned? One would think that the TC would see the mines and avoid them.
soft skin
The tank was buttoned and in reverse. Thus, I would understand backing in the minefield simply by not seeing it, but it never got even close to those mines. Anyway, sh*t happens.it gave my PBEM opponenent a good laugh and I guess that's what matters...somehow. Thanks for the quick answer.

Isn't the whole point that you can't see them? Or were they daisy chain?
soft skin
The mines were hidden, but it doesn't make any difference: the tank wasn't anywhere near enough to set them off
junk2drive
Tigrii, they are his own mines, not the enemy.
