Metalmaus Posted May 6, 2003 Share Posted May 6, 2003 Hi, I don´t know if I´m at the right place, but I have started to learn and check out CMMOS. Problem is that when I try to install rule sets and mods, it won´t work. It´s probably some dumb mistake done by me(I´m not too experienced with these things.) Here is how I try to do it: Copy the zip files to a folder I´ve created, open CMMOS - CMBB chosen - Rule sets, Add, Browsing my folder, double-click on a zip file and - error, CMMOS unable to load...and the help file is a bit on the vague side. MikeT Posted May 6, 2003 Share Posted May 6, 2003 Metalmaus, start off simple. Get ONE ruleset and one mod for that ruleset. Install it and find out what happens. Do not install the other rulesets until you get the procedure right. Pick for instance the Tanki group and grab any CMMOS mod for that group. Now first install the ruleset. Make sure it is up and running in CMMOS. Then click on configure again and install the mod. No remember that CMMOS puts mods into the mod folder of CMMOS. togi Posted May 7, 2003 Share Posted May 7, 2003 Hello to all, I'm also new with the CMMOS, my problem is quite different, I have load the rule sets and mods successfully so I could see the buttons to activate or deactivate some mode changes at the rulesets tabs(Or menus), althought I activated some mods by pressing this buttons, I couldn't see changes in the game. (is it matter to open game after activation?)(For example I have activated the finnish captured T-26 winter mod, but I couldn't see it)..but some bmps loaded as I pressed these buttons. phil stanbridge Posted May 7, 2003 Share Posted May 7, 2003 Tolga yes that is correct. You make the change in CMMOS and then you restart the game. I will open up a game, save it, quit to the menu. I ask also another thing, that may be foolish please don't laugh, is it matter to play with winter camuflaged vehicles in winter scenarios or can I play with in summer ones?
