Robert Olesen
Thanks, Alech, you're absolutely right. It's not software, though, unless you count my VB code ad exquisite Excel handling

woodchuck
got a chance to read over it a bit more...any idea if you'll be able to code it thru excel to do things randomly automated like...and is it even possible to code a mod to create random battle/campaign files?
Robert Olesen
I'm not sure what you mean, woodchuck. The excel file does a lot of things randomly, but can't interact with the CM game files. There is another campaign that does that, but it is not nearly as flexible as ROQC. I haven't looked, but as the format of the CM scenario/save file is proprietary and protected against cheating in obem games, I doubt I could get all that far.
eichenbaum
With <U>OSF</U> you'll have a campaign that you can play with a few clicks and do not need to do any paperwork. But it does not provide you battles in a random way.
