The idea of the attacks during the 9th of June was to make the defending force commit its reserves prematurely and in the 10th of June they launched the offensive proper.

This is also the reasons the Soviet histories list the date of the commencement of the attack differently from the Finnish histories.

I have updated the list of scenarios with some new entries.

Here's a link to a page in Finnish about the battle of Ilomantsi.

Ilomantsi jatkosodassa

This picture shows the goals of the Karelian and Leningrad fronts, the attainment of which in Soviet plans was supposed to result in Finnish unconditional surrender. Whoever it was that had laid the goals had to be totally out of touch with reality (Ilomantsi is the easternmost corner of Finland).
