Mylo Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 After I patch the game and click on the shortcut for the patched version, a message tells me that I need to have the CD in to play the game, when in fact, the CD is in. I do not have the option to play the game from this menu. Only "Exit" and "Multiplayer" are there. Yet, if I click on the shortcut for the original version (1.0), the game fires up no problem, but is running version 1.0. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Madmatt Posted April 2, 2003 Share Posted April 2, 2003 You shouldn't have two shortcuts, the files in 1.02 overwrite the old ones so this tells me that the patch is not properly installed. It MUST go into the same location as the original install. As said above, you also need to apply the 1.01 patch first and then apply the 1.02 patch.
