Gordon
Ok, now I need to know the Russian for "Infantry" and/or "Infantry Uniforms" for CMMOS. Thanks, Gordon
RGL12
I'm first bidder here infantry = pekhota uniform = forma
Gordon
RGL12, Ok, so "Pekhota forma"? None of that modifier after the object stuff? Thanks, Gordon
White Phosphorus
Pekhotnaya Forma. Ekipirovka Pekhoty. For some reason I associate Forma with parade dress, Ekipirovka on the other hand, has a battle ring to it.
Gordon
White Phosphorus lobs one into the back of the court, will RGL12 volley? Gordon
RGL12
I'd say just "forma" - no need for modifier. What you want to differentiate it from ? If you really need more specific name - "Pekhotnaya forma". Ekipirovka means complete set - like spade, flask, binoculars, first-aid kit. Basically its very close to english "equipment". Gordon
RGL12 hits an overhead smash ... This is for the category of mods covering the Russian infantry and vehicle crew uniforms. So, Ekipirovka could also apply. Gordon
MikeT
Yep out of the park on this one. Now my mods have a home, goodie. MikeT
Spook
Probably asking the obvious, but to Gordon, you then have winter uniform sets for at least the two primary opponents as to soon include with CMMOS?
MikeT
Oh yes. Well the Germans are part of a long term plan I have. But they will be done. Now I did set 1 of the Russians, both cold weather and snow using AndrewTF's quilted uniforms plus JorgeMC's white snow smocks.
