Mandela Way T34

Recommended Posts

I posted this in the CMSF forum because I thought it might be a Middle Eastern camo pattern. Now that I know that its not the thread belongs in this forum.

Anybody in England been to see this beast, and know any of the history behind it? Is it a post-war version (which I suspect) or an actual WW2 vet?

Sivodsi,

The imagery is distinctly awkward from a running gear standpoint, but it looks like the original pattern running gear is still fitted, as opposed to the later T-54/55 type starfish pattern roadwheels.

If so, it could be a war veteran, but not necessarily GPW. Plenty of T-34/85s in original GPW standard saw action all over the world.

Regards,

John Kettler
