MPK
Just got around to Winterizing my copy of CMBB using the excellent textures available at CMMODS...thanks people for all your hard work... Some Mods however, seem not to work... that is, they extract OK, but the vehicle itself doesn't change... Is this perhaps related to the presence of different options (tac numbers, stripes, red stars etc)within the zip? I dunno...any advice appreciated.
junk2drive
If you use an early war German AFV in whitewash over grau, it may not show on screen in a battle in the winter of 1944. The opposite is true of late war gelb mods.
MPK
I'm currently concentrating on units available in Winter 1942 (because I'm playing 'Der Manstein Kommt'by PBEM)... Principally, I'm having problems with T43-76 mods and German HTs...
MPK
Obviously, I meant T34-76...
junk2drive
Are you using CMMOS? are the mods made for CMMOS? If not, are the problem mods for CMMOS?
MPK
Are you using CMMOS? no are the mods made for CMMOS? no are the problem mods for CMMOS? no One of them is: CANON_WHITEWASHED_SDKFZ_251_10 which seems to have nil effect... thanks, Junk2drive
junk2drive
It would help if you gave the full name of the scenario and let me know it is an operation. I spent a lot of time to find BT Der... under ops. There are 250/10s not 251/10s in that battle. The T34s are T34 model 1943 early not T34/76.
David I
Junk, You are a good man to go out of the way to help MPK. This is an amazing forum. DavidI
MPK
You're truly a prince, Junk2drive, but I've unintentionally misled you- I mentioned 'Der Manstein Kommt' in passing to explain why I'm suddenly winterizing... I have a little thing I did in the editor for checking the effects of mods, and it has ALL vehicles available to BOTH sides (excluding Minor Powers) in Winter '42...and a few that are not; so my problem with HT's and some other mods is something else. Thanks, Matt
junk2drive
I downloaded the mod, installed and in the editor displayed the SPW 251/10 in Dec 1942, snow, frozen. It was WW.
