spotting through buildings

I know that sometimes a unit can see through a building but this is outragous! Get this, a t-34 was behind a large heavy building and could spot a infintry team over 300 meters away through the building, which was completly undamaged! Must have been a superman tank, unable to see only through lead! Anyone have this happen? :eek:

Don't forget that objects, such as buildings, that you see on the screen are just approximate representations, and not to be trusted entirely. The only way to be sure 100% that you can't see the tank, or that the tank can't see you, is to use the LOS tool. And yes, this kind of thing has happened to me before, where two buildings seemed to "meet" at a corner.

this was through the middle yes exactly the middle of the building, and on the first floor!

there was a special situation in CMBO where you could do this only thru a building on the crest of a hill

there is a WHOLE thread about this somewhere in the CMBO forum

but it would seem there are special conditions where by some unit can get LOST straight thru buildings

I had my old CMBO folder set up for my mac laptop LCD screen JUST the way I liked it

I think all of that terrain is Gunslinger's from his very first Combat Mission Make over

he did one for CMBB as well

but I don't think he is active in the community anymore.

I have his CMBB make over as well

when he does it

it edits EVERY .bmp file in the entire game I think

I like his "look" and feel of the terrain
