MikeyD
Don't blame me, you're the ones who asked for it: - PDF format camouflaging techniques tutorial At the CMAK side of our favorite site: www.cmmods.com Someone asked for a 'how-to' camou tutorial so here one is. Be warned, this is my own wacky camouing technique. Plus I should mention that I work on an old mac in an old version of Photoshop. But the techniques should be easily transferrable... maybe. I've also included a jpeg file of color chips of the most popular colors for modding. A small note of caution. I created the PDF on a mac, and used someone elses Zipit to compess the files. If you experience problems decompressing or viewing give a holler.
Earl Grey
Works absolutely perfect. Thanks very much - now I can do what I ever wanted to! Hopefully a few of the camo patterns posted earlier... Anyway, you will seen results soon enough! Is there any chance you'll tackle the Brummbär now? By the way: Where are all those patterns you did for the tutorial? You really have a gift there, you know... [ July 10, 2006, 12:51 PM: Message edited by: Earl Grey ]

MikeyD
Earl Grey asks: "Where are all those patterns you did for the tutorial?" Those were my earlier failed efforts for the most part. The attempts where, when I'm done, I said to myself "Ew, that looked like a mod in a game, not a paint scheme on a real tank!"
Earl Grey
Ah, I understand. But the last one on the 'cover' very much looked like the wave pattern of the sSS-PzAbt 502 in Normandy... Well, whatever. I'll tr y to make them myself. I'm using PhotoShop7, but the menus still seem to be the same. Astounding work you did there - again. my highest regards.
