AstroCat
Hi, I've been trying to copy Gautrek's weathering technique that he was nice enough to do for me on MikeyD's T34 mods. I am using Photoshop CS, and have read the tutorials on his site. I am pretty comfortable with Photoshop and have no problem doing terrain mods and small other mods. I also understand the technique of blending layers. In the tutorials they referred to layer masks which I do not have much experience with, especially since the tutorial is geared towards PSP and I have PS. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice or help so that I could apply a "dirtying" technique to the remaining green MikeyD T34 mods. Thank you very much for your help, Jordan "AstroCat"
gautrek
So but i cant help you out much but try here. This has been talked about a while ago. Mod thread And BTW i can't claim any praise for the weathering technique as i have only followed Gordon moleks basic tutorial. And if any body can sort out a Photoshop tutorial to achive the same resuilts then please let me know so i can add it to my site.
Herr Kruger
Good luck AstroCat! I am only familiar with PSP and to date have only produced one mod. Hope it works out for you!
AstroCat
Thanks, I understand. A PS tutorial would be great if someone would do it. You know, maybe I have to get a copy of PSP? :)That would make things a lot easier for weathering, then I could just follow the tutorial. So, if I just follow the tutorial with PSP I can get the same effect as you did for me? That would be great. Jordan "AstroCat"
junk2drive
before i spend the time and money, could someone tell me: if you have photos of a camo vehicle, can you morph the camo onto the bmps? or do you have to be an artist?
