PvtRyan Posted June 7, 2002 Share Posted June 7, 2002 I downloaded the demo, unziped it,& ran winzip, but now, all that comes up is abuncha wav files & pictures that go in the game, and when I click on "SC.exe" it says "could not find maps/borders/baseborder .map. Hubert Cater Posted June 7, 2002 Share Posted June 7, 2002 Sounds like using winzip put all the files into a single folder. If you run the self-extractor as is, it will (by default) put the game in your 'Program Files\Strategic Command Beta Demo' folder and then create sub folders for Maps, Campaigns, Snf, Inf, Bitmaps, Sound etc. and then work fine when you double click on 'SC.exe' Hope that helps, Hubert Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
