BriantheWise
SitRep: I'm Allies. I took Tobruk. I cross the desert and am adjacent to Tripolitania. Question: To the east, there is one full hex, and one half hex. To the west there is one full hex, and one half hex. There is no hex below, and a sea hex above. From game terms, if I drop a corp on the full hex in the west, and also have my supplied unit sitting in the full hex in the east, and even a navy on the sea hex, from a supply perspective, is the italian unit surrounded? Does this mean the Italians can only reinforce to a strength of 5? Or do the half hexes defeat this, and still allow the Italian to reinforce to strength 8? As an aside, is it even worth it to bother? Or from a strategy perspective, should one sit tight, save the energy for a while, and then skip to Sicily or somewhere? Thoughts? Thanks.
