jon_j_rambo
A rather uneventful defense of France. Allies played rather timid, destroying no Axis units. A few French escaped & only the Canadians & 1-UK corp died.
jon_j_rambo
September 1940: 1) Italians have swarmed the Suez canal & captured it. 2) UK carriers are engaged near Bergen, several intercepts. 3) Brest held by British. 4) LC/Brussels Port being hit by RAF. jon_j_rambo
game back on.... June 1941 --- 1) Spain falls, Allies have Gibralter for the time being. But Axis have brought at least 2-Luftwaffen down. 2) Allies take Spanish Morroco. 3) Egypt still alive (Alexandria only) but the Italian Navy is getting experience. 4) Algeria still around. 5) Brest occupied, but I took 2 of the other ground units out of harm's way. 6) Brussels commando raiders intact, barely. zappsweden
Early 1942: Every minor except Turkey and Iraq (house rule against it) is now Axis (except Finland who is under Russian attack). Allies reached Paris a while ago but backed off and are now in the Brest area.. Germany retook LC also. Allies hold Egypt but that is just sand (the Suez Route is closed since long time ago) and wont matter. In the east, Germany aborted Barbarossa almost immediately and started diggin trenches around Poland and Romania. I was outnumbered in air and could not attack Russia. kurt88
I see you did browse the halls of wisdom First blood hex is the Ardennes forest or the one northwest from it. zappsweden
First Blood hex is exactly the hex northwest of the French Ardenners. The Elbow hex is the peninsular northern hex in France.
Brian (the semi-wise)
Wow!I'd love to be allies against, even, Rambo, with those bonuses. Is it even possible to lose as allies with those kinds of bonuses? That's an Air for England right away, an HQ for the US right away, and 20 corps for Russia, right away. Seems to me, it's all over before starting.
