Send your destroyer to find the German subs and kill them with your navy and long range bomber turn one. Have the Poles try and kill one German army(I actually did this once) or have them invade Germany. Freaks the computer out. Cash in the entire French navy. Send the French corps overseas to land in Gibralter and Malta. Operate the British air fleet to London. Scrap the damaged British destroyer and long range bomber, and buy the Montgomery command. Send all Canadians, British troops in England and the Montgomery command to invade Italy. Declare war, land your three corps, one army and command unit in and around Bari. With this huge army on the Italian peninsula, Germany pulls half it's army out of France. The Italians freak out also. You should have already sent yout entire British fleet on the first move to the Med. and destroyed the Italian fleet soon after you declare war.Airlift the French airforce to England then Italy after France surrenders. Create a killing zone north of your troops so that when an Italian unit moves in you can hit it with three battleships, three carriers and the French air unit then finish it off with your infantry. The German invasion of Russia is a joke because all their units are in Italy. The last time I played, here are the dates:Russian enters Germany, August 1942. USA invades France, October 1942. Germany surrenders, August 1943. Italy surrenders November 1943. My only question is, why are my victory points so low when I saved thousands of lives by ending the war a year and a half early? But this thread is for Human vs Human games - and this is something completely different . No chance to use this strategy in a HvsH game Standard settings in HvsH games are everything on except war in Siberia. All politics random (not historical) BTW: To beat the AI is no problem - it is good for training and to learn some basics, but no real challenge. When you have learned which way it reacts and how to use its weaknesses you should win every szenario (except perhaps 1944) even at expert setting and +2 experience. If you want a real game, play other humans.
