zappsweden
Comments: Even though France held for quite long time the Axis managed to turn this game into a victory. Already when Allies failed in the initial naval battle around Italy, the defence of Egypt became difficult. The Italian had just enought fleet to defeat the Allies at Egypt and then after naval bombardments and landings, Egypt could not be held. Allies made the mistake not to start attacking Axis sea port around the English channel. It could have given the extra experience that they needed. When Irqaue fell, the game became clearly tilted in Axis favour. It was close though. If Allies had held 2-3 turns longer in Egypt then the Russians would have taken Iraque instead and get the plunder and MPP at leist for some turns.
