John O'Reilly
Have just received the game and am trying to set up a game with another absolute beginner. The problem is that the file is appearing as a bunch of text in the incoming e-mail. How to deal with this? Thanks in advance for any advice, John
Windopaene
Well, the best solution to this is to have the opponent zip the file before attaching it. Second solution: Select text. Copy. Open Wordpad. Paste. Save (make sure you save as text only not rtf or word format).
Hoopenfaust2
Don't use browser e-mails. Use outlook express or something like that.
Gen-x87H
You can save the attachement as a seperate file. At least in yahoo mail. I am not sure about Hotmail. Gen
xerxes
you can save the entire email as a plain text file and read it directly into cm. CM ignores the text outside of the PBEM header tags. Webmail causes a lot of problems with CM files. - xerxes
