Carl Puppchen
I am working on a CMAK scenario that I want to portray a desert battle 1941-2 with poor visibility simulating a khamsin. Any thoughts on the best way to do this? I tried just using heavy winds and that didn't help much, although I think it creates more dust when you drive. I ended up using heavy fog as a solution which limited the visibility to 200 meters or so. I guess I could try putting the scenario at dusk or at sundown. Would that help, too? Thanks in advance for help.
Sergei
Fog should do, in North Africa it means lots of dust in the air. Try to eliminate the dust clouds too (damp ground), because otherwise you can see dust clouds beyond what your units actually can see.

No dust appears at night
Hans
fog works well, I used that and high wind in the Mishmish scenario to (kinda) simulate a sand storm
