Anyway, I have just been playing the great scenario One Long Cold Day as Germans and I decided to use the halftrack to burn the wooded bridge. That way I prevented Tanks from coming throught my flank. Could no do it, just a waste of ammo. Can bridges be destroyed? Moon Posted May 5, 2001 Share Posted May 5, 2001 Never seen a burning bridge, but they CAN be destroyed (both wooden and stone bridges). There is a BMP for it, and I tested it once. But you need some large arty to pound it. Only time I managed to destroy one (a wooden bridge) was in a mockup scenario with a dozen spotters aiming for the bridge. Still took 5 or 6 rounds of heavy shelling (but only 2 or 3 direct hits...) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
