SlyBelle
Just received my copy of CM and things are looking good so far. However, I did notice something different than the demo I was playing with before. It appeared to me that in the demo version, when the computer was thinking or the game was autosaving, it seemed to go quickly. After playing around with some of the scenerios in the actual game, these two items appear to be much slower. So my first question is, do you experience different processing time for the different scenerios? If so, why? Any way to speed up? Also, is there a way to turn autosave off? Thanks for your help and back to the game...
kmead
Scenario size (meaning number of units and associated orders), your processor speed and amount of memory allocated to the program all have an effect. No autosave cannot be shut off and has no (ok very little) effect on the amount of time needed to process a turn. So yes different scenarios take different amounts of time. Lorak
I also find that on of the biggest factors in processing time, is the number of vehicles in a scenario. More Vehicles, longer it will take the turn to process. Lorak
