Schrullenhaft Posted March 31, 2001 Share Posted March 31, 2001 Looking through past posts regarding the Voodoo Banshee-based boards there appears to be the following problems: 1) Smoke is "blocky" if you attempt "high quality" - you'll have to use "fast & compatible". 2) No transparency effects. 3) Some people mentioned problems with raining effects. This will probably be true for snowing effects. 4) Some people had problems with the explosions not appearing as good as they thought they should (probably a similar issue to the smoke effects). 5) I couldn't find anything regarding the Banshee's support of fog-tables. Guest Napoleon1944 Posted April 3, 2001 Share Posted April 3, 2001 I have a Vodoo Banshee card on my old machine and it works great on all 3d graphics except that the 3d smoke was blocky. Not a big distraction though.
