Smack
Why aren't these tanks modeled as I am sure they existed. I know the British had them and the Canadians also had them Look in John Keegans book "STeel Inferno" for proof. They have a picture of a British Army M-10 and have stories involving Canadian Self Propelled 17 pounders!
Viceroy
Smack, it's in there! The M10 was known as the Wolverine.
Stalins Organ
The M-10 mounting a 17pdr as modified by the British is called "Achilles", and I'm pretty sure it's in CMBO already.....
Michael Dorosh
Canadian Army had an establishment for 60 M-10 SP 17 pounders in December 1944, with only 33 holdings (and a deficiency of 27) according to a CMHQ report - see Appendix C to Report No. 141 "Situation of the Canadian Military Forces Overseas" dated 18 July 1945. The June 1944 establishment was 48, with 60 held (meaning a surplus existed) - yet the report refers to it as being armed with a "3 inch gun". The report says they were a stopgap pending the availibility of 17 pounder armed SP guns. Apparently 3rd Canadian Div received the M10s with 17 pounders in August 1944. They were well liked, especially for their ability to move at speed (according to the report). They do not use the name Wolverine in the report, interestingly enough, though other tanks are referred to by name - ie Sherman, Stuart, Crocodile, Wasp, etc. [ 04-29-2001: Message edited by: Michael Dorosh ]
