Sergeant Saunders
I checked the FAQ, but can't find it. How do you get the quotes that credits the quote to the right user? I click on the quote button and just get quote headers!
Chad Harrison
hey sarge, when you click on the quote button it should list the correct name at the top. if not, you can erase the old one, and place the correct name in. for more detailed questions, click on here. David Aitken
Or you can just put in the quotes yourself, as I do. This (substitute square brackets): {quote}{b}Sergeant Saunders{/b} wrote: How do you get the quotes that credits the quote to the right user?{/quote} Turns out as this:
quote:
Sergeant Saunders wrote: How do you get the quotes that credits the quote to the right user?

[ 07-31-2001: Message edited by: David Aitken ]

Sergeant Saunders
Like I said, I must be missing very obvious. I don't get the "Originaly posted by ... " when I click the Quote button. I have tried the other buttons too, but don't help with this. Most frustrating part is people pay me to fix PC problems, so I know it must be stupid simple.
