In this week's issue of The Economist, they provide a brief, but positive assessment of the Half Life mod Counterstrike, which can be read online here. Actually, yesterday I read from a local paper that the largest online games competition is held in France which lasts for 50 hours. From the photo, I can see they are playing Counter-Strike.
