Tanks a Lot
Just finished a new hi-res water and ford mod. Any interest or suggestions?
LimShady
Yeah, when is PhotoPoint going to change the header from "free hosting" to "This will cost you $19.95." Chris
Tanks a Lot
I meant any suggestions on the mod Photopoint will start charging in mid-May, but if you keep your total images under 11, it should still be free.
Frenchy
Tanks..nice work. I think the water is fine, but the ford needs work. I believe adding a few more rocks, gray and brown should do the trick. Right now it looks like those troops are walking on water!
Tanks a Lot
I added a few more rocks to the ford.
jd
I'd also suggest a slight difference in color of water, since it is shallower
Tanks a Lot
i tried to make the ford look murky.
Maximus
Ford looks good now. However the water color itself is a bit too dark, IMO. Can you lighten it up a bit or maybe add some light blue highlights (ie. white caps). But make sure that the tiles will fit together correctly. chasd
That looks great! But why are all the mods for water (and the stock water) always so blue? I don't know about Europe but rivers and lakes here are brown, and the ocean green and blue in the deep parts.

Screenshots always seem to look darker. chasd: Here is a link to a picture of the Seine river in France. It looks pretty blue to me. http://www.freefoto.com/pictures/france/parseine/index.asp?i=
Frenchy
Ford looks good. Good response time! Any idea where it will be available for download?

Maximus
Tanks a Lot, That is the best water mod that I have seen yet. I was just thinking this morning, I wished someone would make a new water mod, because I haven't been real happy with what has been out there until now. And then I get on the Forum this afternoon and find this thread. I'm like, "Alright, 'bout time!" Is there any way that you could come up with a Marsh Mod based on this water? You know, kinda like "Kevin's Watery Marsh" where you overlay some plant growth on top of the water.

I will try to do a marsh mod next.
