M. Bates
What if... ... in 1943 the Germans WON convincingly at Kursk but still LOST (i.e. the Allies invade) in Sicily and Italy. Do the Germans wrap up Russia and take Moscow, then secure and hold the Western Front? Or do the Allies push on steadily thru Italy and invade France in 1944, while the Germans are still slogging it out with the Soviet Union?
Mr. Johnson--
How about "What If" Hitler did not send 250,000 troops to north africa right before Kursk. Biggest problem the Germans had at Kursk was lack of infantry. And I don't think if the Germans won at Kursk they would be able to run to Moscow. Maybe they would have time to build up stronger defenses on the eastern front preventing the loss of AGC and AGS in the following months. Which changes the Russian timetable to taking Berlin in 1946. Which brings up a Churchill style assault through the soft underbelly of Europe. Maybe assaults in Yugoslavia and Italy and Cosica? Maybe the Southern France assault would precide a D-Day in Normandy.

Madmatt
Interesting concept but more suited for the General Forum, which is where it's being moved to. Madmatt
