The game doesn't crash very often, but when it happens it would be nice to have a back up. This could be done just like Civilization II does it, simply saving the game right before the turn is processed in an "autosave" file. Of course, this would make it easy to go back and re do your orders (or just reprocess the turn) in single player mode. Brian Posted September 22, 2001 Share Posted September 22, 2001 Actually what I think would be much more useful would be linking of CM to a compression program - so that when you saved a file you were given the option of compressing it.
