Jingo
After a long dry spell, I've created a new TacOps After Action Report (AAR) for the latest solitaire scenario I did: Task Force Arsenault. Follow the link from my TacOps page here and you can see how I fared against OPFOR: Jingo's TacOps Page This latest AAR, like TF Pucci is also in shockwave format (.swf) and contains a nearly turn by turn replay of the scenario interpersed with my comments. Enjoy. Let me know what you think. Jingo
Agent Smith
Excellent AAR's a couple of questions... 1. What did you use to create the interactive AAR? Was it something like macromedia's captivate? 2. How did you get Blue team to have green units? and red team to be white on red, not black on red? regards A.S
MajorH TacOps Developer
Red markers with white silhouettes/white NATO boxes indicates a version of TacOps prior to v4. That color scheme had to be dropped when I added six more force colors for the Army contract that led to v4.
Agent Smith
Thanks yet again for the definitive answer Major, for a moment or 2 I was hoping colours other than blue could have been used. as an aside...have you ever had someone who might be colour-blind use tacops? Is red/blue an issue?
Jingo
Yes, I used RoboDemo (which became Macromedia's Captivate) for the interactive AARs.
MajorH TacOps Developer
Lots of folks have problems with colors on computer monitors - not just those who are color blind. Dark lines on a dark background are problematic for just about everyone. You can change the shade of the marker backgrounds somewhat by using the "Options/Change Unit Symbol Color Preferences" menu item.
