patboivin
Any possibility at some point of making troops dig in *during* a scenario? Also, fortifications would be nice: WWI-type trenches, tunnels, anti-tank barriers. I know it's a lot easier to suggest than to build. : ) ------------------
Maximus
There are anti-tank barriers as such. They are known as roadblocks and checkpoints. [This message has been edited by Maximus (edited 06-02-2000).]
Lorak
With the editor I'm sure you could model an anti-tank ditch. Just make a depression where both sides are too steep for them to climb. krm
Troops can't dig in during a scenario because it is out of CM's timescope. Think about how long it would take to dig a fox hole - decent enough to provide cover, while under enemny fire. You think your boys in VOT could do that in the 30 minutes - unlikely ------------------ krm - King of useless posts;)
patboivin
You could do it in ASL -- I guess the troops in that game were lean, mean, digging machines... : )

Yeah, but can you cross it the Russian way: remove the turret of one of your tanks, drive it into the ditch, and drive rest of your tanks over it. (They did this at Summa February 1940 with a T-26) - Tommi
