Wolfe Posted August 9, 2000 Share Posted August 9, 2000 After finishing off the last 2 Jadgtigers, my Hellcat apparently decided to fire smoke at the enemy instead of HE. I know this subject has been brought up before, but the firing line coming out of the tank is actually Red instead of the normal Grey/White that smoke is supposed to be. See: http://users.erols.com/chare/cm/smoke.zip After it finished off the Jagdtigers, I hadn't issued any order to the Hellcat. It simply started firing smoke on its own; apparently to shield my infantry from the German MGs who were targeting my .50cals on the other side of the map. And strangely enough, after it fires it's last smoke shell, it then starts up with HE, fires 1 round (to take it down to 3 remaining HE) and then stops firing to conserve rounds. Seems backwards, IMO. Shoot the HE to suppress/kill the enemy *then* shoot smoke if you're low on other rounds. - Chris Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
