Maximus
It's a "V for Victory-esk" looking game. Game is billed as: "Recreate the greatest Amphibious and Airborne operations of World War II!"
Mord
Thanks for the link. I was never into computer wargames like this. I never understood why they used chits as graphics. To me it would be like making a Dungeons and Dragons RPG computer game and having graph paper, pencils and dice for the graphics. But it's most likely a decent game for people who dig that sorta thing. Mord
Strider
Indeed it is an excellent game for those of us who cut our teeth on (board)wargames. I've played the demo and I like it. Got to get the grandkids taken care of for Xmas, then it's my turn, and this one is at the top of my list
rdarnese
Probably because 3D units look stupid trying to represent hundrends or thousands of men over large distances . That's one reason I never use that feature in TOAW... ------------------ Richard Arnesen Shrapnel Games www.shrapnelgames.com

Guest MantaRay
Agreed. Sadly they didnt release this before CM. CM just did revolutionize the war gaming look and feel IMHO. Not saying that this game will suck, but I may pass on this one. Ray
Guest rune
Actually, give it a try. It is well done, and more on the operational level, whereas Combat Mission is tactical. I played the demo and enjoyed it. There is still a place in the world for hex based games. Rune
