pkpowers Posted September 21, 2000 Share Posted September 21, 2000 I've played the gold demo meeting engagement numerous times and those german SG III's are involved in "brew-ups" and catastrophic explosions most of the time they are hit, but the shermans even when hit in the turrent have not "brewed" Is it because this sherman is modeled after a later model type that had wet storage for on-board ammo? Any model with a W (eg M4A3(75)W as you see in Chance Encounter) has the wet storage you mentioned. Don't worry, early Shermans earn their nicknames, "Ronson" and "Tommycooker."
