Preacher Posted June 21, 2000 Share Posted June 21, 2000 There are several "Operations" that consist of 3-9 battles (editor allows creation of operations that last up to 20 battles). Losses carry over from battle to battle. Front lines are determined. Units can be isolated. Vehicles can sometimes be recovered/repaired. Etc, etc. So, in effect, yes - there is a "campaign" feature. dumbo Posted June 21, 2000 Share Posted June 21, 2000 No there isnt. Not in the sense of Steel Panthers campaign mode or other games. CM has "operations" which are bigger battles (but all fought on the same large map) but there is no sense of you taking core units over several years and them getting better over time. To be fair to BTS although you and I may think campaign modes are the best thing since sliced bread (I know I do) they never promised such a mode so one can hardly blame them when the feature isnt in.
